Some Sad Good-Byes
It's time to say Good-Bye...
...This time of the year is always a bittersweet one as we have to say goodbye to a range of valued staff members at Wingfield. Their dedication and contributions have been deeply appreciated, and they will be dearly missed.
First of all, we'd like to bid farewell to Miss Wiggin, who has spent eight remarkable years at Wingfield. She will be moving back to Wales to continue her career in education, and her passion and commitment have left an amazing mark on our school community. Mrs. Piggott, who has been with us for three years, also departs, leaving behind a legacy of excellence in leading our mathematics department.
In addition to our teaching staff, we will also be saying goodbye to some teaching assistants across the school. Firstly, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Miss Maria, who has spent many years supporting Upper Key Stage 2. Her unwavering commitment has resulted in outstanding achievements year after year. Miss Nicole will also be leaving us and returning to America, and last but not least, Miss Shannon, who leaves us after coordinating a show-stopping performance of High School Musical with Year 6. Her creativity and enthusiasm have brought joy and inspiration to our entire school community, and we wish her well as she starts her studies for her Masters in Musical Theatre.
To all these amazing members of staff, thank you for your hard work, passion, and the positive difference you have made at Wingfield. You will be sorely missed, and we wish you all the very best in your future endeavours.
We are also saying good-bye and good luck to Year 6 toda as they head off to secondary school and to those children in our nursery who won't be joining us in September. We wish them all well on the next step in their academic journey.
