This week, two rugby coaches visited Wingfield to deliver some tag rugby sessions to the children in KS2. As part of the lessons, the children learnt about passing, moving and how to maintain possession. The children thoroughly enjoyed the lessons and the associated drills. The coaches will continue to deliver sessions as the term progresses, ensuring that the children learn all the skills related to the sport. By the end of the term, the children will have an opportunity to play a competitive tag rugby game. The coaches delivered the session brilliantly and the children displayed a range of the Wingfield values as they interacted with them.
